FILPLAST WINDOWS

Double glazed, low u-value, PVC windows

Just looking at building materials, the 2nd most important aspect of building a low energy home is choosing the right windows. All benefits of proper wall and ceiling insulation are lost if the windows are mere “wind brakes”.

There are numerous factors governing the “ideal” window frame / glazing combination for your home – but basic principals don’t change:

• Low overall u-value
• Low overall air penetration
• Quality, durable, maintenance-free frames
• if the direct sunlight onto the glass can’t be controlled, SGHC values need to be considered.

Filplast PVC Windows are individually manufactured to size in Europe to the highest standard. The Tilt & Turn mechanism allows the window to be fully opened to the inside, yet allowing for perfect sealing when closed as the mechanism pulls the window onto the frame’s seal. Tilt for light ventilation, turn for cleaning the outside from the comfort of your room. Insect screens can be fitted.

All glazing are sealed double glazed, argon filled units for minimal heat loss. The windows in this system are made in accordance with new, higher security standards. They give each building its individual character depending on the requirements and wishes of the users. A wide range of colours and patterns will satisfy even the most sophisticated tastes and will make possible harmonious matching of these elegant windows with the face of the building.
